About Play haven indoor playhouse & Cafè
Our Story
At Play Haven Indoor Playhouse & Café, our mission is simple: to create a space where all children can engage in fun activities, explore, and thrive—especially those living with neurodivergence.
As an ADHD mom of five, with children of my own navigating neurodivergence, I quickly realized that many indoor play spaces are overwhelming, overstimulating, and primarily designed for neurotypical children. The bright lights, loud noises, and chaotic environments often leave kids like mine feeling anxious or left out.
With a background in social work (MSW) and as a BCBA-in-training, I felt a calling to do something different. Playhaven was born from both necessity and passion: a safe, sensory-friendly environment where children of all abilities can enjoy playful exploration, build social skills, and just be themselves.
While our family fun center is thoughtfully designed with neurodivergent needs in mind, neurotypical friends are always welcome—because inclusion benefits everyone. Here, every child can find joy, connection, and a place to belong.
